It was beautiful. Forests, green fields, a thousand fish-filled lakes. The wildlife was abundant. Animal life was vigorous, full of insects and birds, like passerines. Everything could be found there, even bats, which had arrived naturally. Then everything was twisted, flattened, annihilated by the systematic vitrification of the planet Harvest*, orchestrated by the zealous Ministry of Quietude.
2023. Back on Earth, under the stratus, in Smallville. For its first exhibition of the year, carte blanche has been given to a young international collective (Mexico, Italy, Romania). Having collaborated regularly since their studies at ECAL, this trio shares the same devotion to the culture and aesthetics of online communities. Their intervention “General Aesthetics” addresses meta-signification through the construction of a model environment.
